Karisma

What is Karisma?

Injectable device for medical use, resorbable, the composition of the

filler is soft and restorative as it naturally improves

conditions prior to aging, acting on the skin as

Facial rejuvenator, guaranteed by a studied and calibrated dosage of substances that does not allow permanence and with a prolonged effect.

Indications

Karisma is indicated for medium-term correction of facial defects due to skin aging and/or volume loss, making it suitable for those who wish to reduce facial and lip skin imperfections, redefine the contours, and is also capable of correcting small scars.

Rh Collagen

Collagen is known to be the main protein of connective tissue. It is considered the most abundant protein in mammals (about 25% of its total protein mass), and represents approximately 6% of body weight in humans.

Wellness

Collagen plays a fundamental role in the well-being of the skin and of all

organs of the human being.

anti aging

The aging process causes quantitative and qualitative variations

(increased stiffness) in the collagen content in the body.

Repair

This protein is critical for the operation of all major tissue and organ repair processes.

skin substitute

The possibility of using collagen in cosmetics, aesthetic medicine and as a skin substitute is the subject of current interest.

Collagen biosynthesis

The basic structural unit of collagen is a triple helix made up of a variety of polypeptide chains, of the α 1 and α 2 type. The main characteristic of a typical collagen molecule is its long, rigid, helical structure and triple-stranded structure, in Three collagen polypeptide chains, called α chains, wrap around each other in a rope-like super helix.

The collagen biosynthesis process occurs in around 10 stages. Essentially it is the collagen that Karisma Rh has that represents a fundamental part of this process, shortening the sequence.

  • α1 chain of R polypeptide

    1. Made from silkworm cells and spun into cocoons

  • Why the silkworm?

    1. Silk is considered a reliable material in the medical field.

  • safe procollagen

    1. In contrast to traditional methods of protein production, significant amounts of high-quality procollagen have been produced with this method, by expressing collagen in the sericin layer of the silk thread, which is the water-soluble part of the gland;

  • R polypeptide α 1 chain

    1. Assembly of collagen fibrils and other millimeter structures

  • Clear Advantages Over Animal Collagen

    1. Better bio functionality

Karisma has currently been used in the following therapeutic areas

Area App Treatment
Dermatology aesthetic injectables Certified MD class III face, Certified MD class III face
Dermatology tissue repair Certified MD class III RiCreo Derma
Dermatology regenerative MD class I inflammatory states, CREO R Mousse
Orthopedics visco supplementation Class III MD Certificate, Knee Injectables
Veterinarian Adjuvant eye drops to the treatment of the cornea

Substance Action
Karisma Recombinant Collagen R α1 chain polypeptide Increases production of procollagen C in fibroblasts. This type of peptide facilitates the wrapping of procollagen molecules in a triple helix conformation within the endoplasmic reticulum.
